This book contains a collection of poems for each month of the year, with beautiful illustrations throughout. It is bound in a dark gold cloth with a brown title, brown and gilt decorations, and beveled edges. The spine has gilt lettering and a brown design. All edges of the text block are in gilt and beautifully illustrated throughout with black and white engravings. There is rubbing to the boards and slight fraying on the board's corners. There is fraying to the head and tail of the spine. There is prominent foxing to the pastedowns and free-end papers.
