One of the recently banned or challenged Seuss titles that was withdrawn from publication by Dr. Seuss Enterprises.  Early printing of the first edition, with 16 titles on the back panel of the book listing to 1958 ("Yertle the Turtle" and "The Cat in the Hat Comes Back"). Since the next Seuss book was published in 1959, assume this copy of "Scrambled Eggs Super" was published circa 1958-59.

Book: Good. Dust jacket: None. The book boards are bright blue with a pictorial cover. The covers have shelf wear, and the cover edges are chipped and frayed at the corners. The spin lacks a 5cm strip, and the top of the spin is frayed. The previous owner's name is on the front pastedown in ink and crayon on the front endpaper. There is a very slight soiling on some of the pages.
