The previous owner's inscription on the front pastedown in ink. There is a very slight soiling on some of the pages. 

One of the recently banned or challenged Seuss titles that were withdrawn from publication by Dr. Seuss Enterprises on March 2021 due to "hurtful and wrong" content, in this case, for an insensitive portrayal of a Middle Eastern character.
