The White House Gallery of Official Portraits of the Presidents

Condition: Good. The Official Portraits of Our Presidents Photogravure Portfolio De Luxe 1912. Published by the Syndicate Publishing Company of New York City. It includes portraits from George Washington up to William Howard Taft. The portraits are on a heavier card stock material and have a reproduction of the president's signature below them. The portraits are all reproduced in black and white. Attached to the portrait is a 1-page piece about each president. The pages are 15 inches tall by 9 3/4 inches wide. The portfolio book is blue with a gilded title and a white art design on the cover. The boards have shelf wear, rubbing, bumping, discoloration, fraying, and scuffs. Each sheet is loose within the folder (as intended). Some of the title/intro pages are all present on each of the portfolios, some may have small scuffs, slight discoloration where glued to the portrait, or small foxing spots. Each sheet has tanning and bumping to the edges and some have slight tears. All 26 portraits are included and each has its original information page adhered to it. There is an extra cover sheet of W. Wilson’s Cabinet which is in fair condition with torn edges and tanning.
