Book Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket: Very Good. The dust jacket is covered in the original mylar sleeve. There is bumping on the back of the dust jacket panel and foxing on the inner side. The front flap is price cut, a small tear on the top and bottom, and there is bending to the bottom edge. The boards are red with a gilt title and rubbing on the bottom edge. The cover board is slightly bowed. The owner's inscription is on the front free endpaper. There is foxing on the text block edges, a hint of foxing on the pages, and more prominent on the last page. Otherwise, the book is unmarked on the binding and is secure. The book is still an excellent coffee table book to have around. "It is only a little planet, but how beautiful it is" is the opening line for this beautiful ode to the natural beauty of the Big Sur Coastline, photographed by highly regarded West Coast photographers combined with Jeffers's exquisite poetry.
