A scarce travel narrative set in 19th-century outdoor Colorado written by Lewis Bourgeois France. France details the beauties of the state by way of an explorational narrative—beautiful illustrations of the pleasures of hiking and fishing in Colorado.
Book Condition: Very Good. Decorative brown cloth with black designs, a gilt illustration, and a title on the front cover. Gilt title on the spine with floral end sheets. Light edge wear and rubbing to the cloth. The back pastedown has a slight crack to the hinge. There is a small stamp on the front free endpaper. The binding and interior are clean and unmarked, with the exception of an owner inscription in pencil on the front endpaper.
