The hardcover is bound in richly textured brown leather with 22 kt gold accents and lettering, printed on acid-neutral pages that are thread-sewn, not glued together. The edges of the pages are gilded with 22 kt gold to protect them further. A silk page marker is sewn into the binding. The raised spine bands give the book a distinctive Easton Press look and silk moire endpapers. The board's edges have a hint of rubbing, the binding is firm, and the pages are unmarked.
