Tales of Mystery and Imagination / First Edition Thus / 1933
by Edgar Allan Poe with Illustrations by Harry Clarke
Tales of Mystery and Imagination by Edgar Allan Poe is an iconic collection of horror stories and macabre poetry written in 1933, and widely acclaimed as a masterwork of horror literature. Offering a combination of thrill and fascinating horror, this anthology is a must-have.
The book is bound in black cloth with an illustrated paper label on the front cover. The label is chipped. There is rubbing on the boards, bumping to the edges, and white staining on the lower board. The spine has a title in gilt, slightly soiled, rubbing to the joints. Publisher's black top stain. Black endpapers. The pages are lightly tanned, clean, and unmarked, and all plates are present; however, some plates have creasing. This is still a handsome copy to add to your library.
